JIMMY SMALL WINS GENE SPARACO SCHOLARSHIP

July 26, 2010 Jimmy Small a 2011 grad was awarded the Coach Gene Sparaco Scholarship. Jimmy Small led the team in base hits with 17. Led the team in batting AVG. batting .405. Led the team in OBP. with a .457 mark, hit 3 doubles and co-led the team in runs with Victor Sorrento. This was all accomplished with WOOD BAT. Jimmy played a solid shorstop and also tracked balls down in center field. When called upon Small could also handle himself behind the plate as catcher. Jimmy always hustled, never complained and was a leader though example. << Back
